Welcome to Youth Faith Formation!

Students attending the 9 AM service are invited to join in the fellowship and food in the Fellowship Hall after the service.  Class begins at 10:15 AM.  The teachers will escort the children to their classrooms when it is time to begin class. 

Nursery
Infant – Age 5

Childcare is available in the nursery on Sunday mornings from 8:45 AM-1:15 PM.  We have a paid nursery staff person who is trained in Child and Baby First Aid/CPR/AED. Infants and young children are invited for supervised play and snacks.

Parents are asked to sign their child in to the nursery and sign them out in person when picking up their child.  

Pre-School/Toddler Class
Ages 2 years – Pre-Kindergarten

The children in this class will have a playful Sunday School experience using Sparkhouse curriculum, rooted in church life. Each lesson has a Bible-centered approach as students will learn more about Jesus. The lesson materials and activities are hands-on and engaging for young children.

This class will have an opportunity to participate in age-appropriate singing, activities and crafts.

Elementary Classes
K-2 and Grades 3-6th

We’re excited to offer Spark: Activate Faith Sunday school for all kids grades kindergarten to fifth grade. Each week we’ll explore a new Bible story using the Spark Bibles.

We’re excited to explore the Old and New Testaments with kids using Spark: Activate Faith Sunday school! Kids will learn a new Bible story each week through activities, music, and buddy activities.

Parents: each week we’ll send home a Family Page for you to explore that week’s Bible story together as a family. 

 
Middle School Class & High School Class
Grades 7-12

Middle School and High School classes are available.

The youth have the opportunity to be assistants in church services and participate in Adult Forum sessions. The students are invited to participate in service projects and monthly activities. We plan for the students to attend the ELCA Youth Gathering that happens every three years and encourage participation in the Mission Guatemala trips.

All youth are invited to participate in worship as acolytes, ushers, readers and if they are in middle school or older as assistant ministers.
